Which photographed Runner ability is cheapest?
Inflatable Decoy is the least expensive of the three photographed permanent Runner upgrades (750 Gems). Cloak and Emergency Airhorn were each reported at 1,000 Gems. This does not establish a universal “best” pick: examine the current-game cooldown and how you usually escape.

Important: Pocket Door and Chaser classification conflict
Pro Game Guides and Roonby call Pocket Door and several Chaser tools paid abilities with Gem prices. MMORocks’ photographed October 3 permanent-ability tab contains only Cloak, Emergency Airhorn and Inflatable Decoy, and lists some of the other named tools as items without confirmed prices. We display the older reports as leads, not definitive current shop stock.
A purchasing checklist that avoids wasted currency
- Role: Choose only an ability usable by the role you intend to play most.
- Category: Verify that the item actually appears under the live ABILITIES tab instead of ITEMS.
- Effect: Check whether Cloak still ends when you use an item, and whether a door lasts long enough to change lanes.
- Resources: Keep Coins available for consumables; do not drain Gems on items without first checking their Coin option.
- Availability: If an item is missing or reclassified, do not buy based on this guide’s older price.
