The October 3 game-screen walkthrough shows Space to dash and Alt to show/hide the mouse cursor. October 4–6 guides instead describe Alt as an instant brake and Space + A/D as a sideways dash. Those accounts conflict. Try the controls in a safe area and follow your game build’s own prompts.
Controls compared by evidence
| Action | Inputs reported | Where it came from | Our guidance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Movement | W / A / S / D | Pro Game Guides (Oct 6) | Likely standard PC movement; test acceleration and deceleration. |
| Dash | Space; some guides specify A or D + Space | MMORocks first-session walkthrough (Oct 3) and Roonby beginner guide (Oct 4) | Game screenshot notes Space; directional constraint remains guide-reported. |
| Alt | Cursor toggle or instant stop | MMORocks first-session walkthrough (Oct 3) versus Pro Game Guides (Oct 6) | Conflict: do not assume braking until you test your client. |
| Interact / revive | E (reported) | Pro Game Guides (Oct 6) | Look for a contextual interact prompt before relying on it. |
| Menus and spectate | On-screen MENU / SPECTATE | MMORocks first-session walkthrough (Oct 3) | Follow the live labels; they can be changed by an update. |
| Phone / controller | Unknown in the inspected source set | Not validated | Use in-game bindings; we do not fabricate a mobile keymap. |
Three drills before a serious chase
Acceleration
Move straight across open ground, release the movement key and observe the coast. Memorize how early a turn must begin.
Side dash
Build momentum, try your current dash prompt, then test A/D + Space. If it does not match the old guide, rely on the live game.
Alt experiment
In a safe location press Alt once and observe the cursor and movement separately. Verify rather than guessing what the key will do.
Why do guides disagree about Alt?
An Oct 3 article documents the visible cursor hint in the game’s lobby, while newer community walkthroughs describe an instant stop. This could reflect different UI states, an inaccurate guide or a changed build; we have no controlled session showing which is right now.
Avoid these different-game controls
Some similarly named experiences publish Space = Vault, C = Slide, Q = Ability and J = Journal. Those combinations are explicitly tied to Ve3’s different Roblox place, not necessarily to Huss Valley Official.
